This work aimedto evaluate animal production and pasture variables with a management of levelsof 350 and 600 kg/ha of green leaf lamina biomass (GLLB). Treatments were consistedof total forage mass of 617 and 1139 kg/ha of DM, respectively, lower than recommendedlevels for maximum animal performance. No differences were observed on totalforage and green leaf blade daily accumulation rates, on total forage production,daily live weight gain, stocking rate and gain per area, which was near 430kg/ha for both treatments. Forage on offer was different among treatments, beingan average of 5.47 and 7.69 kg of DM/100 kg of live weight for 350 e 600 kg/haof GLLB, respectively.
