Canine Cryptococcosis Associated with Prolonged Corticosteroid Therapy

[摘要] A case of cryptococcosis in a five and one half year old female Irish Setter has been described. The source of the infection was not determined. This is the first documented case of canine cryptococcosis in Alberta. A review of the records of the Alberta Veterinary Services Division for the years 1961-1980 indicates this is the only laboratory case of cryptococcosis encountered in that period.
