The CVMA and the veterinary profession in Canada

[摘要] During my term as president of the Canadian Veterinary Medical Association (CVMA), I had the opportunity to meet many veterinarians, from St. John’s to Vancouver. Many interesting discussions were had. I was surprised to find out that the majority of veterinarians whom I met knew very little about the work accomplished by the CVMA. Most importantly, few members and non-members know that the work accomplished by the CVMA staff and volunteers has a direct daily impact on their professional lives.
