La explotación aurífera en el occidente asturiano: evolución histórica y situación actual

[摘要] Western Asturias in the Spanish northwest has a long gold mining tradition that dates back to before the Roman conquest and has lasted, through ups and downs, into the present day. Mining is now coming back into its own due to Rio Narcea Gold Mines, whose intense digging brought up nearly three tons of gold in the year 2000, fundamentally in the towns of Belmonte and Salas. In addition to mining panning for gold is being revived as a source of the precious metal and a tourist attraction for the Navelgas area of the town of Tineo.
