An evaluation of the lighting conditions for robot vision
[摘要] ENGLISH ABSTRACT: A vision robot, with comparable characteristics currentlybeing used, was designed and built. The response of therobot is evaluated in terms of the lighting conditions it issubjected to, treated as a transfer function with a visualdisplay as input and a decision made as output. Thesensitivity for luminance, contrast and detail of thedisplay are given.Successful classification of certain displays are accomplished. The limitations of each part of the robot is evaluated and the result of these limitations on the totalresponse of the robot is pointed out.
