The decadence of a health system and the consequences for the inhabitants' health

[摘要] A descriptive, longitudinal, retrospective study of the patients that received attention at the office of Maxillofacial Surgery of San Paulos Hospital, in the city of Addis Ababa, Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, from July 2002 to October 2005, was undertaken. These patients were carriers of tumoral diseases with grossly deforming and destructive growths of the orofacial structures. It is stressed the importance of the globalization of medicine with an ethical, scientific and human health system.
