Discerning congregational growth : a case study - Vineyard Christian Fellowship Tygerberg, 1992-2000 with special reference to leadership

[摘要] ENGLISH ABSTRACT:The basic premise of this study is that when a comprehensive analysis ismade of the Vineyard Christian Fellowship Tygerberg's current status andgrowth, it will provide a sound basis for discerning that growth. This will insome measure open the way for the leadership of the congregation to be ableto make decisions for the future that are better informed and more aware ofthe way God has worked with the congregation thus far. This in turn willhopefully keep the congregation on the path to further growth towardmaturity.The research has been structured in such a way, that it conforms to apractical theological framework and attempts a description of the currentreality of the congregation by means of a mechanical, cultural and leadershipanalysis. A practical theological ecclesiology follows in order to provide thebasis for a correlational hermeneutic. After analysis and reflection,possibilities for future strategies are proposed.
