Rebuttal From Drs Koenig and Lakticova

[摘要] In keeping with tradition, we must first acknowledge and commend our colleagues on a well-written “point.”¹ However, we must address head on the parry to the question and the alternative facts of the main data to support their point. Also, while we read with interest their description of how to perform bronchoscopy, along with the where and when, in patients with hemoptysis, this has no relevance to the question that was posed. Namely, should all patients with an initial episode of hemoptysis receive bronchoscopy as part of their evaluation? We still believe the correct answer is no.
