COPD in China: From Crisis to Hope…

[摘要] China is the most populous country in the world, with 1.4 billion people living in its territories.¹ It was once a very poor nation; however, with an average economic growth of 10%/y over the past 30 years,² China now boasts the second highest gross domestic product (GDP) in the world, estimated to be $14 trillion US/y.² If this trend continues, China will become the largest economy in the world by 2025, surpassing that of the United States, which currently has an annual GDP of $19 trillion US.
