Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder and Comorbid Asthma
[摘要] In a report in CHEST (June 2017), van der Schans et al1 show an association between attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and asthma. Increasing environmental exposure to anthropogenic nitrogen and emissions of N2O (nitrous oxide) may contribute to etiological factors in neurodevelopmental disorders like ADHD (My Bibliography at PubMed: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/sites/myncbi/1r5h3UjOlyj5q/bibliography/51230181/public/?sort=date&direction=descending ).2 N2O is clinically linked to altered respiratory functioning, including reduced respiratory rates and end-tidal carbon dioxide.
