Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder and Comorbid Asthma

[摘要] In a report in CHEST (June 2017), van der Schans et al¹ show an association between attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and asthma. Increasing environmental exposure to anthropogenic nitrogen and emissions of N₂O (nitrous oxide) may contribute to etiological factors in neurodevelopmental disorders like ADHD (My Bibliography at PubMed: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/sites/myncbi/1r5h3UjOlyj5q/bibliography/51230181/public/?sort=date&direction=descending ).² N₂O is clinically linked to altered respiratory functioning, including reduced respiratory rates and end-tidal carbon dioxide.
