Acculturation and sleep: implications for sleep and health disparities
[摘要] Several recent studies have identified “sleep disparities” in the US population, with individuals from underrepresented minority groups and socioeconomically disadvantaged backgrounds reporting less sleep duration and/or worse sleep quality [1]. There is evidence that these disparities in sleep contribute to disparities reliably observed in other health conditions, including hypertension [2], inflammation [3], obesity [4], and diabetes [5].
