0071 The Effect Of Circadian Action Factor (caf) Of Artificial Light On Brain Waves And Mood Ratings In Young Adults: A Preliminary Study
[摘要] IntroductionArtificial lighting is pervasively used in daily life. Its effects on hormone production, sleep-wake cycles, body temperature regulation, and alertness are getting more and more attention by the public. The color temperature of light affecting sleep was discussed a lot in previous studies, but the circadian action factor (CAF) was barely mentioned. Based on the formulation, Equivalent Melanopic Lux (EML) = Circadian action factor (CAF) * Lux, we hypothesized that the higher the CAF is the more people will be affected by illuminance. So, we compared the effects of four different lightings, two with low color temperature but different CAF (L1: 3419K/0.41; L2:3453K/0.60) and with high color temperature but different CAF (L3: 5560K/0.65; L4:5588K/0.91), owing to examine the effects of CAF.
