A SIMPLE APPROACH TO FABRICATEg C 3 N 4 MoS 2 NANOCOMPOSITEAND ITS APPLICATION AS A LUBRICANT ADDITIVE
[摘要] The graphitic carbon nitride/molybdenum disulfide g C 3 N 4 /MoS 2 ) nano composite w assynthesized by a simple hydrothermal process MoS 2 and g C 3 N 4 were coexisted by thechemical bonding with high purity and the layered MoS 2 well dispersed on g C 3 N 4nanosheets. The tribological propert y of g C 3 N 4 /MoS 2 nanocomposite w as systematicallyinvestigated under different conditions used as the lubricant additive, and the resultsindicated that the introduction of g C 3 N 4 /MoS 2 nanocomposite into base oil could reducefriction and wear drastically, which was better than the testing results of single MoS 2 ,g C 3 N 4 and the mixture of MoS 2 and g C 3 N 4 The excellent tribological propert y of theMoS 2 /g C 3 N 4 nanocomposite can be explained by the exc ellent traction and support effectsof g C 3 N 4 and the synergistic friction reduction and wear resistant effects of g C 3 N 4 andMoS 2 nanosheets . This work highlights a pathway to expand potential applications ofMoS 2 and g C 3 N 4 based materials in the tribolog y field.
