THE EFFECT OF TEMPERATURE AND FREQUENCY ON THE DIELECTRIC PROPERTIES OF 4-METHOXYTRIPHENYLMETHYLCHLORIDE
[摘要] In the present work, temperature and frequency dependent properties of 4-Methoxytriphenylmethylchloride have been studied. The temperature is found to be directly proportional to the capacitance. The variation in dielectric constant (ε) and tangent loss (tan ) occurs due to the existence of both the internal field in the material and the external ac field. In the tan , the appearance of peaks indicates the presence of the relaxing dipoles. Electrical resistivity is inversely proportional to the temperature and it seems to follow the power law Aω
