PREPARATION OF FUNCTIONAL AIR FILTER MATERIAL BASED ONBIODEGRADABLE FIBERS AND NANO TITANIUM DIOXIDE
[摘要] Silk fibers and cotton fibers were pretreated and mixed in a certain proportion to preparefilter materials by wet forming process, and nano-TiO2 was immobilized on the filtermaterials by filtration method. Pore size structure, filtration performance and strength ofthe filter materials were investigated by using Pore Size Meter, Field Emission ScanningElectron Microscope (FESEM), Automated Filter Tester and Burst Tester, and antibacterialactivity of the filter materials were tested by disk diffusion method. Results show that airfilter material containing 10% cotton fibers is relatively high in both burst index and filterefficiency. Nano-TiO2 particles are mainly distributed on the surface of the filter materials,and filter material loading 6% nano-TiO2 has good antibacterial activity, relatively highburst index and filter efficiency.
