Co-DOPING RED-EMITTING Sr2Si5N8:Eu2+ INTO YELLOW-EMITTING PHOSPHOR-PACKAGING FOR ENHANCING THE OPTICAL PROPERTIESOF THE 8500 K REMOTE-PHOSPHOR PACKAGING WLEDs
[摘要] Inthe last decades WLEDs a t tract more and more consideration in both academic andindustrial purposes because of its advantages such as fast response time, environmentfriendliness, small size, long lifetime, and high efficiency. In this research, by doping thered emitting Sr2Si5N8 :Eu 2+ phosphor particles in to yellow emitting YAG :Cephosphor packaging , a new recommendation for enhancing the optical properties (coloruniformity , color rend er ing index and lumen output ) of the 8500 K remote phosphorpackaging W LEDs is pr esented , investigated, and demonstrated. By using Mat Lab andLight Tools software based on Mie Theory , the obtained results show that the opticalproperties of the 8500 K remote phosphor packaging WLEDs significantly depended onSr2Si5N8 :Eu 2+ concentration. The results have provided a potential practicalrecommendation for manufacturing remote phosphor W LE Ds .
