Tratamiento ortodóntico en molares desiduos en paciente con agenesia de permanentes. Caso clínico
[摘要] Dental agenesis is the absence of one or more teeth; it is a developmental anomaly common in both dentitions, resulting from a disorder of the dental lamina, which prevents the formation of the dental germ. The permanent dentition is the most affected. The most frequent missing teeth are the third molars, the second most frequent are the maxillary lateral incisors, and the second mandibular premolars. Dental absence is often bilateral and tends to be familiar.
