Micro-osteoperforaciones en el movimiento dentario ortodóncico
[摘要] Orthodontic forces activate inflammatory pathways and osteoclastic activity. Accelerating the rate of bone resorption and favoring bone remodeling through controlled micro-traumas performed in the trabecular alveolar bone, in the form of micro-osteoperforations, can amplify the presence of markers of inflammatory expression that are normally expressed during orthodontic treatment such as chemokines, cytokines and prostaglandins, which in turn increases the recruitment of osteoclasts. The micro-osteoperforaciones constitute thus, an alternative, safe and less invasive method to accelerate the dental movement of effective way and with it, reduce the duration of the orthodontic treatment.
