Evaluación por medio de Tomografía Computarizada Cone Beam del Canal Gubernacular y su rol en la erupción dentaria

[摘要] Nowadays, with the use of cone beam computed tomography (CBCT), we have begun to study in more detail the dental eruption process, where the governmental channel could play an important role in this process. Objective: to collect and study the current evidence in relation to the gubernacular tract and its detection by means of complementary radiographic tools, together with the radiographic description of its characteristics. Materials and Methods: A search was made in Pubmed, Google Scholar, Tripdatabase, Cochrane, where articles were obtained from 1971 to date. Conclusion: It has been possible to establish certain characteristics of the canal in both permanent teeth in the process of normal eruption, as well as certain characteristics in impacted teeth or with obstruction of the eruption or definitely no tooth eruption.
