Luxación extrusiva y fractura no complicada de corona en la dentición permanente. Presentación de un caso
[摘要] Dental trauma is recorded as one of the most prevalent events during childhood and is a common reason for consultation in childhood and adolescence. It is described a case in mixed dentition of an extrusive dislocation of the left central incisor and uncomplicated fracture of the crown in its right counterpart, resulting from a fall in a play area. After treating the soft tissue injuries, both teeth received a semi-rigid splint for 4 weeks. After resolution of the emergency, indications of hygiene and soft diet for 2 weeks and clinical follow-up for 1 month were given, which continued for 7 months both clinically and radiographically. It is recommended to carry out a comprehensive follow-up of traumatized teeth in order to identify and deal with the sequelae that occur in the short and long term after a trauma has occurred. The immediate treatment of trauma improves the prognosis of the teeth involved.
