Paciente con Maloclusión clase III, esquelética con laterognasia, solución del caso

[摘要] A 19 year old patient is diagnosed with a skeletal class lll, with a mandible prognathism and maxillary hypoplasia with laterognatia on the right side. The patient presents hyperdivergent growth pattern, class lll bilateral molar and canine relationship, with midline shift, anterior crossbite, increased overbite, anterior crowding in the maxillary, moderate crowding in mandible. The objective of the treatment was planed to correct the facial profile, dental compensation, occlusal stability (tripoidismo) so we can reference to surgery so they can perform osteotomy type lefort 1 advance of 8mm and bilateral osteotomy sagital de mandible ramus. The malocclusion class lll was treated with orthodontic and surgical treatment. We used brackets prescription Roth 0.022x 0.028 and used orthodontic bands on first and second maxillary and mandible molar, surgical crimpable hooks.We obtained satisfactory skeletal results, harmonic facial profile, that is esthetic and functional.
