Triglyceride and high density lipoprotein cholesterol concentrations quantitative analysis in whole blood by FTIR-ATR spectroscopy and FT-Raman spectroscopy
[摘要] The triglyceride (TG) to high density lipoprotein cholesterol ratio (TG/HDL-C) and the TG level itself have both been identified as a biomarker of insulin resistance, cardiovascular disease and a predictor for atherosclerosis. The aim of this study is to evaluate the feasibility of spectroscopy combined with partial least squares regression for quantitative analysis of TG and HDL-C in whole blood samples. Comparison of quantitative analysis results based on Fourier transform infrared spectra and Raman spectra was performed. The experimental results on whole blood samples demonstrate that the multi-component blood lipid quantitative analysis model based on FTIR-ATR spectroscopy has superior performance, and it is feasible to apply FTIR-ATR spectroscopy in point-of-care diagnostics of complex bio-fluids.
