The attitudes of black businessmen and business women to the capabilities of black people in business

[摘要] In light of the skills shortages as well as the economicand political realities facing South Africa there:has beena growing realisation of the need to integrate Blacks andwomen into the mainstream of organisational life. Enabling'Blacks and women to achieve their economic aspirationsthrough non-discriminatory employee development has beenrecognised as crucial to long term economic growth in SouthAfrica. In response to this reality a number oforganisations have implemented affirmative actionprogrammes. however, many South African organisationsexpress dissatisfaction with the progress in Blackadvancement, despite considerable investment of resourcesin training and development initiatives.
