The structure and dynamics of riverine vegetation in the Umfolozi game reserve

[摘要] The cyclone Domoina floods of 1984 were responsible forthe large scale destruction and devastation of riverinevegetation in the Umfolozi Game Reserve. This eventhighlighted the need to gain an understanding af thestructure and dynamics of riverine vegetation and to usethis knowledge to develop a management strategy directedat the future recovery and maintenance of riverinevegetation in the Umfolozi Game Reserve.
