[摘要] Abstract Objectives: To evaluate sensitivity of ultrasonography(USG) in the diagnosis of acute appendicitis compare to clinical, per-operative and histopathologic findings. Acute appendicitis is one of the most common surgical emergencies. Although it is very common but the diagnosis is sometimes very difficult. With the advent of different laboratory investigations and ultrasonography the diagnosis can be made with more accuracy thus reducing negative appendicectomies and unnecessary morbidity..
