Comparative Study of Combined Surgical and Medical Management with Medical Management alone in Spinal Tuberculosis

[摘要] Abstract Objectives:Compare the short term outcome in combined surgical and medical management with medical management alone in tuberculosis of spine, with six months follow up. Study design: Clinical Trials (RCTs) Setting and Duration: Department of Neurosurgery, Dow University of Health Sciences/ Civil Hospital, Karachi, three years from June 2006 to May 2009. Patients &methods: This study was conducted in two groups, thirty patients in each group; they were diagnosed as cases of tuberculosis .
