Participatory development planning and democratic governance

[摘要] The development of a range of regional and national soclo-economic anddevelopment forum has been one of the most unusual and facilitatingphenomena of the recent system transformation and contemporary SouthAfrica. in light of these experiences, the study covers the initial attemptsof the Gauteng provincial government to structure citizen and communityparticipation in the local implementation of the Reconstruction andDevelopment Programme.
