Hydrogen gas-in-oil on-line monitor for high voltage current transformers.

[摘要] The sudden failure of oil paper-insulated currenttransformers has become a problem of considerableconcern due to the cost of the resulting destruction,and danger to personnel. The aim of the dissertationis. to determine the most suitable method of detectinglncipient faults in current transformers, test thismethod on an experimental current transformer, andfinally implement this technique in a low cost on-linemonitor. A literature survey indicated that hydrogengas-in-oil on-line monitoring would be the mostsuitable technique.(Abbreviation abstract)
