Focused-microwave-induced combustion: investigation of KClO3 thermal decomposition as O2 source
[摘要] PotassiumchlorateisproposedhereasachemicalsourceofO2infocused-microwave-inducedcombustion.ThethermaldecompositionofthiscompoundgeneratesenoughO2tomaintainthecombustionandparticipateingasphasereactionsresponsibleforHNO3regeneration.Ananimalfeedconcentrateisthereferencematerialandtestsampleused.ImportantparameterssuchasHNO3concentrationintheabsorbingsolution,volumesofignitingandoxidizingagentsaddedtothesample,andmicrowavetotalincidencetimewereevaluatedusingamultivariateapproach.Themethodefficiencywasevaluatedbydeterminingboththeresidualcarboncontent(RCC)inthedigestatesandtherecoveriesofCa,Mg,Mn,PandZnusinginductivelycoupledplasmaopticalemissionspectrometry.Recoveriesinthe82.3–102%rangewereobtainedforallelementsstudiedusing5mLofanabsorbingsolutionwith5.0molL−1ofHNO3,andadding110μLofNH4NO36.0molL−1plus140μLofKClO30.5molL−1tothesolidsample,ina7mindigestionprogram.ARCCvalueof20%andafinalacidconcentrationof0.19molL−1wereobtainedinthecombustionof100mgofsampleunderoptimizedconditions.Thesepreliminaryresultsshowthecapabilitiesofasimple,inexpensivemethodwithpotentialfordifferentapplicationsinprocedurestakingnolongerthanafewminutes.Itiscompatiblewithcommerciallyavailablefocused-microwavesystemsandrequiresnoinstrumentalmodificationforitsimplementation...
