A pulse analyzer
[摘要] The pulse analyzer is a device for determining the number of electrical pulses within a given size, or voltage range which may be produced by any given source. For example, it may be used to determine the number of pulses between 0.1000 and 0.1005 volts, which may be produced in any given interval of time. Similar devices have been developed by A. Roberts at the Massachusetts-Institute of Technology, by S.N. Van Voorhis and J.B.H. Kaper at Princeton University, and by M.G. Halloway at Cornell University. However, the device to be described differs from that of Roberts - the only one on which data has been published - in that the minimum range is smaller. Also, the total number of pulses of size larger than a definite limit may be determined as well as the number comprised within definite limits.
