Reporting and Interpreting Task Performance in Go/No-Go Affective Shifting Tasks
[摘要] There is an increased interest in the study of impulsive reactions to food cues (Bartholdy et al., 2016). For this, computerized tasks that include lexical or pictorial food stimuli are often used. One of such tasks is the affective shifting task, which is a type of go/no-go task. Unfortunately, it appears that reporting and interpreting performance in this task has been fairly inconsistent across studies. Therefore, the current article aims to highlight some of these issues in an effort to provide some guidance for researchers who are interested in using this task.
