DFW-AHC: The future of physical gambling in the US

[摘要] The Dallas Fort Worth Airport Hotel Casino—Thesis Project is about the integration of a hotel-casino into the DFW airport's future terminal 4W. This project deals with issues such as extra-territorial space, artificial boundaries and redefinition of existing rules and regulations. The hotel-casino within the airport proposes the merging of land- & airside into one volume in order to blur the boundaries and create the impression of unification yet maintaining the two different controlled spatial conditions. Furthermore this project proposes the usage of another extra-territorial network, the U.S. hub network, for corporate or state gambling.
