Relaxation time constant of ferromagnetic single-domain particles

[摘要] A Brownian motion treatment was applied to the Neel model for superparamnagnetism and the relaxation time was calculated. A comparison with the published results was made. It was shown that the fluctuations due to magnetostriction are too small to account for the dissipation mechanism.
