Time effects in the bearing capacity of friction piles

[摘要] The study described herein presents a procedure to predetermine the bearing capacity of a pile, driven in saturated clay soil, at all times subsequent to installation. The applicability of this procedure is shown by a comparison with observed values published by Reese and Seed.
