预装酒精接头保护帽在PICC置管术后的应用

[摘要] Abstract：Objective To explore the application of pre-installed alcohol connector protective cap after peripheral central venous catheterization(PICC). Methods 〓Totally 100 patients with PICC were randomly divided into observation group and control group, with 50 cases in each group. In the control group, needle-free connector was disinfected by counter-rubbing method with single-chip alcohol cotton for 15 seconds. In the observation group, the needle-free connector was disinfected by pre-installed alcohol connector cap PICC catheterization. The incidence of puncture point infection, phlebitis, Central Line Associated Bloodstream Infections(CLABSI)and blood contaminated were observed and compared between two groups. Results 〓the incidence of puncture point infection and phlebitis were lower in the observation group than those in the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion 〓It is an effective disinfection method to use pre-installed alcohol-based protective caps after PICC. It may reduce the risk of PICC-related puncture point infection and phlebitis.
