整体护理干预在预防鼻咽癌放疗后声带麻痹中的应用

[摘要] Abstract：Objective To evaluate the application of holistic nursing in prevention of vocal cord paralysis after radiotherapy for nasopharyngeal carcinoma. Methods 〓A total of 103 for nasopharyngeal carcinoma patients with radiotherapy were assigned to the control group(n=52)and the intervention group(n=51). Both two groups received routine nursing, and the holistic nursing intervention was carried out in the intervention group. The condition of vocal cord paralysis was evaluated. Results 〓The proportion of patients with IV~VI degree of vocal cord paralysis was lower in the intervention group than that of controls 12 months after radiotherapy(P<0.05). More patients in the control group suffered from IV~VI degree of vocal cord paralysis 12 -36 months after radiotherapy compared with those in the intervention group(P<0.05). Conclusion 〓Application of holistic nursing is potentially effective to prevent vocal cord paralysis after radiotherapy for nasopharyngeal carcinoma.
