隔盐灸神阙穴治疗老年阳虚型功能性便秘的效果观察

[摘要] Abstract：Objective To investigate the effect of salt-partitioned moxibustion in treatment of elderly patients with Yang-deficiency functional constipation. Methods  Totally 80 elderly patients with Yang-deficiency functional constipation were assigned to the observation group and the control group, with 40 cases in each group. Both two groups received routine care, and the salt-partitioned moxibustion was carried out in the observation group. The constipation condition and score of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)syndrome scale were evaluated. Results  The overall effective in relieving constipation was 95.0%(38/40)in the observation group and was 72.5%(29/40)in the control group, with a significant difference(P<0.05). The score of TCM syndrome scale were decreased in both two groups after treatment, and was lower in the observation group than that in the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion  It is simple, effective, and less toxic and side effects in the treatment of functional constipation by salt-partitioned moxibustion at Shenque acupoint.
