中医骨科康复治疗老年骨性关节炎效果观察

[摘要] Abstract：Objective To observe the effect of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)comprehensive orthopaedic rehabilitation for elderly Osteoarthritis patients.Methods A total of 145 elderly Osteoarthritis patients were assigned to the observation group(n=73)and the control group(n=72). Both two groups received western medical treatment, and the observation group was given TCM comprehensive orthopaedic rehabilitation, including TCM orally intake, TCM fumigation, TCM bath and massage. The clinical effect of two groups was compared. The joint function was evacuated by Japanese orthopaedic association(JOA)scales, and the degree of pain was assessed by visual analogue scales(VAS). The adverse reactions were recorded during treatment.Results The overall effective rate was 97.3%(71/73)in the observation group and was 87.5%(63/72)in the control group, with a significant difference(P<0.05). Patients in the observation group had a higher score of JOA and lower score of VAS compared with those in the control group(P<0.05 or P<0.01). the incidence of adverse reactions was 1.4%(1/73)in the observation group and was 9.7%(7/72)in the control group, with a significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion TCM comprehensive orthopaedic rehabilitation is beneficial for elderly Osteoarthritis patients, as improving the rehabilitation of joint function.
