阻塞性睡眠呼吸暂停低通气综合征患者疾病相关知识认知情况及健康教育需求调查
[摘要] Abstract:Objective To investigate the awareness of the disease and health education needs in patients with obstructive sleep apnea-hypopnea syndrome (OSAHS). Methods A Total of 90 OSAHS patients were selected in this study. The disease knowledge awareness was assessed by OSAHS knowledge questionnaire (the apnea knowledge test, AKT) and the health education needs was investigated by selfdesigned OSAHS questionnaire. Results There were 5 cases (5.56%) with AKT score≥12 point and 85 cases (94.44%) with AKT score<12 points. The averaged AKT score of all patients was (5.27±3.16) points. The correct rates of answer to “definition of OSAHS”, “three symptoms of OSAHS”, “potential risks in Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP)”, “leak in CPAP” and “patients compliance during CPAP” were 11.11%, 35.56%, 33.33%, 27.78%, 37.78% respectively. Health education needs, knowledge related to treatment and self-management were highly required in all the patients, and the ratios were 92.22 % and 94.44%. Conclusion A low awareness of disease in OSAHS patients was proved in this study. Strengthening health education can improve the ability of self management of patients with OSAHS disease.
