导管维护模式在PICC置管感染患者护理中的应用效果
[摘要] Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of catheter maintenance mode on indwelling catheterrelated infection in patients with peripherally inserted central catheter (PICC). Methods A total of 86 PICC patients with indwelling catheterrelated infection were randomly divided into the study group and the control group, with 43 cases in each group. The control group was given conventional treatment, and the study group was applied with nursing intervention based on catheter maintenance mode. The curative rate of infections, incidence of complication and assessment on quality of life were compared between two groups. Results The curative rate of infections within 4 days and overall curative rate were significant higher in the study group than those in the control group (P<0.05). The overall catheterrelated incidence was significant lower in the study group than that in the control group (P<0.05). The study group had a higher score in each dimension of SF36 questionnaire compared with the control group (P<0.05 or P<0.01). Conclusion Findings indicate the catheter maintenance mode can reduce the risk of catheterrelated complication and improve the quality of life in PICC patients.
