Tratamiento con Pendex para maloclusión clase II esquelético, con apiñamiento severo sin extracción

[摘要] A ten years old female patient came to the office due to “crooked teeth” and was diagnosed as a Class II Skelletal patient with normal growth tendency, bilateral Class II molar and cuspid occlution with severe crowding on the upper and lower arches. No habits were present. The treatment plan was 1st phase Orthopedic treatment with dentoalveolar expantion and molar distatiation with a modified Hilgers appliance with an expantion screw. The 2 phase of treatment consisted on anchorage with a trans palatal arch modified with a Nance button, alignment, leveling, detaillment and retention. The material used were bands, modified Hilgers appliance with expantion screw, full brackets 0.022 X 0.028 Roth specifications, bonded tubes on second and first molars. Total treatment was 5 years and one month.
