[摘要] Malocclusions are a development problem; product of the interaction of genetic and environmental complex in the development of the orofacial region. The bearing hereditary and environmental factors, an important influence; however it can be difficult to determine if the malocclusion is a purely genetic, environmental or a combination of both problems, being a topic of discussion, debate and controversy in the literature of orthodontics.
