[摘要] In Odontology to develop teaching materials for the students, it requires several elements, these should be taken care both in the pedagogical field of the discipline.In this sense as academics are committed to the process teaching and learning in the improvement of the use of the student during their vocational training. A multimedia for the career of dental surgeon is designed to be used by the students of the first year, in module clinical prevention, in order to support the contents that are taught according to the academic program in the first year. Objective is to determine in the first year of the module students clinical prevention if learned in theory and the review of the media as material didactic, entitled “Anatomical characteristics of the dentition, permanent” were sufficient for filling of electronic, same file located in the Web page. Descriptive cross-sectional study methodology, sample n = 240 students of first year of the morning shift, divided into two groups G1 = 120 that only gave them the theory and G2 = 120 is taught that the theory and work with the media. Procedure, the multimedia climbed to the network, with the evaluation diagnosed two groups G1 and G2 on the identification of the dentition that they do, when they attend to patients in the clinic in prevention module. Results Students findings pointed to envelope the ease of navigation, this program was a reinforcement of the already acquired knowledge: can finally draw comparisons between children and permanent teeth. Conclusions, it is very important that the student has this type of tools, since they are a didactic support and avoids that students make mistakes, at the beginning of the clinical treatment, because you can identify the child and permanent dentition in patients.
