[摘要] Since many years ago, dentist specialties of Orthodontics and Maxillofacial Surgery, have played an important role in the treatment of snoring and apnea-hypopnea syndrome Obstructive Sleep (SAHOS). This literature review is intended to describe the effectiveness of orthodontic devices that can be used as a possible treatment for SAHOS, also it provides detailed information on the mechanism of action, selection criteria and side effects of each orthopedic appliance.
