Objetivos que se pueden lograr con un Camuflaje Ortodóncico en pacientes Clase Ill quirúrgicos. Revisión de la literatura

[摘要] This literature review describes the camouflage in patients with class III, whether because of a maxillary prognathism, mandibular retrognathism or a combination of both .And aims to show that orthodontic camouflage for skeletal discrepancies is a treatment option in the daily practice, obtaining favorable results in soft tissue esthetic and solving class III malocclusion. For which a search of scientific articles and clinical case reports of this malocclusion was held in various scientific journals of orthodontics and orthopedics. Concluding that should make good skeletal and dental diagnosis that allows the differentiation between dental malocclusion class III skeletal origin or source, and thus approach the treatment plan according to the patient's age and origin of it. In growing patients, being the treatment of skeletal origin is aimed at solving the problem, by Extraoral appliances that produce differential growth of the maxilla or mandible that are responsible for these dysplasia. In patients who have completed growth has two treatment alternatives, one is the dental compensation (camouflage) and the other is surgery.
