Evaluación de los cambios dentarios y su influencia en los tejidos blandos de pacientes tratados con sistema Damon Q y MBT

[摘要] This research was mainly aimed at establishing the dental changes and evaluate the influence thereof in the soft tissues of the lower third of the face by comparing patients treated with Damon Q (N = 23) and MBT (N = 16) system. The study sample consisted of 39 individuals, being 28 women and 11 men aged between 11 y and 26 years old. Digital cephalometric radiographs were recorded, those were taken before and after completing the treatment. The inclination of the upper and lower incisors and facial profile changes were measured by cephalometric analysis software named Nemotec Dental Studio.
