[摘要] An inadequate amount of attached gingiva difficult and compromises the success of orthodontic treatment, in the presence of future recessions, as well as the presence of labial frenum to difficult the orthodontic movements. For successful treatment of root coverage, there are various periodontal procedures and surgical techniques to cover exposed root surfaces as free gingival graft and subepithelial connective tissue (ITCSE). Both methods have their advantages and disadvantages. This article shows the result of a patient who underwent free gingival graft when starting the orthodontic treatment, as it presented an aberrant frenum associated with insufficient attached gingiva level dental organ 41 with a recession gingival of Miller class II.
