A NEW METHODOLOGY FOR BREAKWATER DAMAGE ASSESSMENT AND ITS IMPLEMENTATION ON A WEBGIS

[摘要] In this paper a new methodology for breakwater damage assessment was developed to reflect the advances in monitoring techniques and to overcome some limitations in this process. The proposed methodology was implemented on a WebGIS called SIMOM - Monitoring System for Maritime Works. This system and the proposed methodology are presented using the Ericeira North breakwater (Portugal).
