Intervenção precoce no Brasil e a prática dos terapeutas ocupacionais/Early intervention in Brazil and the practice of occupational therapists

[摘要] O presente texto expõe uma breve problematização sobre a temática da Intervenção Precoce (IP) em sua conjuntura atual, tanto no cenário nacional quanto internacional, e a atuação de terapeutas ocupacionais nesse contexto. Aborda, inicialmente, a questão da terminologia utilizada em documentos (estimulação precoce ou Intervenção Precoce?) e sua repercussão para as políticas; apresenta alguns destaques das diretrizes mais debatidas, por ocasião do Congresso Internacional de Intervenção Precoce, realizado em junho de 2016, na Suécia, em contraponto com o cenário encontrado no Brasil, e, finalmente, aborda como a prática da Terapia Ocupacional tem ocorrido no panorama da IP no Brasil.  Abstract The present text brings a brief problematization on the theme of Early Intervention (EI) in its current conjuncture, both in the national and international scenario and the work of occupational therapists in this context. Initially address the issue of terminology used in documents (early stimulation or early intervention?) and its repercussion for policies; it presents some highlights of the most debated guidelines at the International Congress of Early Intervention, held in June 2016 in Sweden, in counterpoint to the scenario found in Brazil and finally addresses how the practice of Occupational Therapy has occurred in current overview of EI in Brazil.
