A Faunistic Study on the Freshwater Cladocera (Crustacea) Species in Turkish Thrace (Edirne, Tekirdağ, Kırklareli)

[摘要] A total of 47 different localities including lakes, ponds, streams, rivers and other bodies of water were surveyed between 1996 and 1998 in order to determine the Cladocerean (Crustacea) fauna of the Turkish Thrace region. Thirty-nine species of Cladocera were collected, out of which, 10 are new of the Thrace region of Turkey. The distribution of the species are given according to their localities and province.
